I bought a corded orbital sander. I was going to get an air sander but I do most sawdust generating activities on the back patio and the air hose won't easily reach.

You should watch Tucker and Dale Vs Evil
Wikipedia makes it sound amusing. I probably will never watch it, but I'll file it away in my head somewhere. Maybe some day. I still have a bunch of old tv shows I want to rewatch, but haven't felt much like watching video.

Got the Kobo Clara yesterday and after some fiddling around with Calibre and plugins I got the downloaded Kindle books to the Kobo with cover art.

I knew the Kobo was lighter and a smaller 6" screen, which is what Kindle had for years, but I didn't realize the size difference was so stark. I am definitely loving the lightness, and I think I am going to enjoy the smaller factor - this will fit into my small urban slings easier, and all of them, not just some of them. We will see after some longer-term usage. But started reading book 1 of the Murderbot Diaries last night, and it was very nice.

Ordered a larger doggie door to install this weekend. My daughter noticed the larger doggy had some soreness/irritation on her underbelly so we think she's rubbing and can barely fit. I have an older Makita corded jigsaw, but I was thinking of picking up a cordless one. If not, I for sure need new blades.

500ft of direct-bury cat6 cable. I need to run a line from the house to our exterior building. Home wifi ain't penetrating a steel building.

It's wonderful

Heh... I watched an ASMR video about a week ago, and the girl's thing was eating a Dubai chocolate bar. That was the first I'd heard of it. The girl seemed to like it. She said she doesn't usually like pistachio, but liked the bar.

edit:

It's got an amazing texture. Snappy chocolate and crunchy kinetic sand filling. I made some on my own before, but this is obviously way better. Spendy, but I've spent more on less.

Ok, I'm sold. I got a cheaper brand from amazon. I have a few hours left on my free shipping extension from stuff I bought last night, so I figured "Why not?". It'll soon be too warm to order chocolate, and I might dead by next year :^D

This is the one I got. Made in Turkey...

Nice, hope you enjoy. I absolutely love pistachios. The GF and I went by a big pistachio store in NM last month and I was good and didn't stop in since she's allergic. Hopefully this stuff stops being cool soon so it gets cheaper.

The proper response when new tools are needed:

LoL I wish that was the case here.
They use a little machine that plows a trench and drops in the piece of fiber at the same time. It's only about 6" deep, and only for runs from the box at the sidewalk to the connection at my house. Around 80'. The replacement is free if breaks because of ground movement, a hundred bucks for being stupid. I knew exactly where the cable was, but didn't think about it till I was drilling post holes and the wife came out and said the internet was down. I looked in the hole I was drilling and saw the tattered remains of my high speed fiberoptic cable. Took the installer an hour to replace it.
