I've read about that, it's a shit ton of work dealing with doing that, but it does end up being way cheaper.
nope, dead simple. I literally picked up car from dealership, drove it to the commercial customs office at Detroit (took me 1.5 hrs to find the entrance because it is not well lit and no sign), fill out export paper work, drive to Canadian customs, pay taxes, drive home. Then get an inspection from crappy tires then go get a plate like any other car.

I just followed steps listed on a website lol.

But now the used car market in the US is horribad and the exchange rate is not helping.

I bought one thing at Cotopaxi, one thing at Orbitkey, and one thing at Kobo a couple days ago, all just direct from their own websites. Both the Cotopaxi and Orbitkey items shipped and are in transit already, having already left their local facilities - one from Cali, one from Utah.

From the Canadians? I AIN'T SEEN JACK SHIT. WTF GOVERNOR TRUDEAU!!!!

I always think I'm getting a good deal until I find out what prices are on US based sites, always hurts to see how bad we get screwed here. Exchange rate doesn't help especially right now as it's really in the shitter. Definitely ads to the price.

The other day I was pricing something on on Grainger and accidentally was on the US site, that was a kick in the face when I realized that.
Grainger's prices here are insane, I can't imagine what they're like in Canada.

I used enloops for my trailcam. I specifically wanted one that uses AA batteries so I'm not dealing with proprietary batteries and can use rechargeables. They last at least a few weeks. I never did find out how long they last for sure but I assume they're dead now, been all winter. Keep meaning to go but when I'm off it's always super cold. I don't really want to chance going out there in case I get issues with the truck or something. Will be a different story once I build a heated shelter but don't have anything yet. Long term goal is instead of trail cams I'll put regular security cams, that way they can be powered via POE from a central source and all the data can also go to a central source. I have a bunch of solar panels in my garage that I got for cheap years back, will install them out there eventually.

Entry level trail cam, just for my back yard because we have raccoons and other varmints raising hell now and then. I tried it out last night, and it works pretty good. Between the reduced price and a coupon, it was around $30 total.

It uses AA batteries though. I am looking into getting Li-ion rechargeable ones. Any recommendations?
If you live in a cold/hot climate, stay away from lithium.

If that's a problem, you could run the cord through tiny metal conduit if they make such a thing. If not, brake line should work.

N₂O is more fun, and balloons are cheaper than regulators ;^)
The last time I had that at the dentist, it ended poorly, mostly for the tech. 😛

I went to a major national hardware/tool chain because I was told they had argon. They didn't know, and after trying to sell me map gas, they said they didn't have any and couldn't because they were near a residential area and it was too dangerous to nearby buildings.

So online I went.

Don't welders use Argon? There has to be a welding supply near you.

The farm I get my eggs from raised prices to $5/dz, limit 2. Still cheaper than aldi, and an order of magnitude better, but I miss buying them there @ $2/dz. Last price was $3.50/dz or 3dz/$10.

tl;dr
I bought 2 dozen eggs :^D

The Walmart house brand eggs caught up with Happy Egg on price so I bought a carton of Happy Egg eggs.

I bought a small slab of mesquite for a shelf project.
