this oppressed low IQ MAGA trash spends lots of money on shit like this, which in this case is close to $3K, and complains that he is economically oppressed, even while being subsidized by the cities, too fucking funny
Whoa, a central california peep. I'm a few miles SE on highway 99. :-D

I was looking at some Olukai shoes and they look pretty nice, but I'm not a fan of what you linked. The scaly look doesn't resonate to me. Olukai's flip flops are great though. Haven't tried any of their shoes yet. Those are very interesting - sorta like wingtips, but on morphine. Heroin is for junkies.
I'm going to guess you're not the Olukai "type." But given that pick, you might like something like these:

“Oxfords, not brogues” is a line from the movie Kingsman: The Secret Service that suggests that Kingsmen should only wear Oxfords. In the movie, Harry Hart (Colin Firth) tells Eggsy (Taron Egerton) that his brogues are too casual for the situation.
Explanation
Oxfords are a type of shoe with a closed-lacing system that creates a more formal look. Brogues are shoes with decorative holes, or perforations, in the leather. Broguing can be applied to any style of shoe, including Oxfords.
Damn dude. Congrats. They tried to bend you over and you shouted - DENIED!New home/auto insurance policies. Going to be saving ~$3k combined compared to our renewal rates 😉
That looks solid -- well done!I turned many of my "I just bought"s into an "I just made". Yes, it looks like crap. Good learning experience though, and it's a comfortable height because it's custom. Just think of the money I'll save on Advil for my back.

Hell yeah. The auto insurance I kind of get -- we did have a claim when my wife clipped the corner of her the garage opening frame...but not a 34% increase!Damn dude. Congrats. They tried to bend you over and you shouted - DENIED!
Just got the renewal for my auto policy: $625 for 6 months for full coverage ($1k deductible). Can't seem to find anything cheaper though.New home/auto insurance policies. Going to be saving ~$3k combined compared to our renewal rates 😉
Some states are limiting the amount home insurance can go up, even in high risk areas, so companies are either pulling out of those markets or passing on rate increases to areas of either lower risk or areas without such state restrictions.Hell yeah. We had zero claims on our homeowner's insurance. Absolutely baffling. Fuck'em.
I doubt we have any consumer protections in Texas lolSome states are limiting the amount home insurance can go up, even in high risk areas, so companies are either pulling out of those markets or passing on rate increases to areas of either lower risk or areas without such state restrictions.
You might get a better deal through an agent and a smaller local insurance company, believe it or not. I have home and auto through a company called Hanover — auto is under $1k annually for my wife’s 2021 Mazda with good coverage. The usual suspects want at least 25% more. If I saved $3k between both they’d be paying me.Just got the renewal for my auto policy: $625 for 6 months for full coverage ($1k deductible). Can't seem to find anything cheaper though.
I tried a local agent, but they just couldn't get anything lower than what GEICO gives me.You might get a better deal through an agent and a smaller local insurance company, believe it or not.
