I couldn't work with that much flashing. Bright red looks cool though.
You can set up different profiles. That one fires up automatically when Spotify is playing. Normally I have a red breathing effect which is quite soothing. For films theres a setting that sort of extends the lighting from the screen into an ambient effect. Like if the top of the scren is red there will be a red glow above the monitor, its pretty cool.

Does the Razer software monitor the screen for color changes and change the RGB effect accordingly?

I finally upgraded my receiver (Onkyo TX-SR601, which I bought refurbished in 2005). I was originally set on getting a Denon AVR-X3800H, but I could never pull the trigger (I only have a 5.0 setup). Denon has a 20% coupon code, so I bought a refurbished AVR-X1700H for ~$460 after taxes.

Man, what an upgrade. Besides actually having HDMI ports, even the basic Audyssey calibration made an improvement in overall sound, and streaming local music from my laptop/foobar2000 through HEOS is really cool.

Now I'm getting the itch to upgrade my speakers, but they still sound great to me.

Nothing too exciting. I stopped at walmart for bar oil and hot sauce. I haven't been since some time last year. I don't really like going there, but I like the hot sauce, and it's hard to otherwise find locally.

Well, one more time on this gerbil wheel upgrade. Newest new motherboard. Still pricey for a 2.5 year old mobo design.

Returned my Noctua NH-D15. Switching to a smaller case than my old Corsair 800D makes that HSF looked HUGE!
Picked an NH-U12A Chromax, which is working great. I think Noctua's new LCP 120mm fan design improves
performance to about that of my older NH-D14.

a classic motorcycle, and then a boatload of parts to refresh it (tires, fluids, filters, etc.)

120v 15a single circuit transfer switch, I was actually looking at designing my own but came across this so bought two. The one I would design would have ended up costing me about the same to build once I factor in all the parts and that's without ETL certification.

We've been getting flickers and power outages etc almost every day in my area and my server UPS is only good for about 2 hours and I've been coming close to losing my stuff when I'm not home to transfer power to solar manually, so this will automate it.

I may still need to add a bit of my own logic to this setup though as it may switch back and forth too fast depending how it's designed. The goal is still to rely on the UPS for uptime, this essentially just transfers the UPS to another power source to extend run time, and also use free solar power. So eventually set it up to run off solar mostly throughout the day.

The 2nd one I will probably setup to do my workstation.

2023 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy - 2.5L Turbo AWD. Resale prices for trucks are absurd right now, and with 2 kids I'd run out of any functional cargo space IN the truck.

No ragerts -- I love this thing.

Nikon D850 (3091 shutter count). Decided to upgrade my Nikon D5200 bought Sept. 2014 (currently at 3618 shutter count). I'll using a cheap Tamron 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 (A061N).
Will upgrade to a much better all around f/2.8 lens (Nikon/Tamron,/Sigma) ASAP. Also a glass screen protector.

Got a Sabrent 512GB Rocket CFX Type B memory card, CF express card reader and a MB-D18 battery grip , 2 extra EN-EL15B batteries, and a dual battery charger.

A new helmet, saw dogs, rope, and a couple shirts.

I put the little dogs that came with the saw on my smaller tophandle that didn't have dogs at all. The plastic chaincatcher doesn't fit exactly right with the beefier dogs. If/when it breaks, I'll replace it with a rollercatcher.

Nikon with an EOS strap? You lloking for a beatdown or something?
Sharp eyes, 😀😛

Got the D5200 (24.1 mp - 1080p video) from Target (display model) for about $250 early Sept 2014 no strap. I had and still have a Canon XTi (10.1 mp, no video), so I borrowed the strap.
I'll have to watch videos and read the manual/books on how to properly use this N850, It's gonna be a learning curve for me.

Thanks for the reminder. I'll look into that, right now just the included N850 strap. Any recommendations would be welcome.
They discontinued the one I bought. Not that it was good or anything, the safety second strap was useless.

This one looks decent but who knows
