My new(est) hat

Edit: arrived today, June 9th...pretty happy with the fit, material, and construction.

The hats are designed in Boston, but...made in China, not surprisingly. Oh well.

I got 100 of these switches for my keyboard (it's a hot-swappable PCB, so no soldering).

Boba U4T (clear top) $0.60 per switch.

Installed them in my keyboard a few days ago.

Been wanting a generator for a long time. It's to run a sump pump and fridge in case the power goes out. I've gotten lucky so far, but it could run out any time. I like this little guy cause it's easily portable. It's enough to do the job, and nothing more.

I got a harborfreight lithium jump box to power gear. I was skeptical of it's ability to turn a car over, but I had to use it for that once, and it worked. Doesn't seem like much when you're holding it in your hand.

A red Switch right joycon. My son dropped the Switch late last year and it broke the blue right joycon. I got him a new blue joycon for Christmas from Santa. I wasn't paying close enough affection and didn't realize that at some point Nintendo swapped the default joycon colors so when I bought a blue one to replace the broken blue one I was actually buying a blue LEFT joycon. Now our gray joycons both need to be sent in for drift repair and we'll be "left" with two left joycons, a blue and a red. So I bought a new right joycon which is red.

Fact. My friend drives a fire truck. Guy in a diesal had a dead battery. Laughed when my friend pulled out the beatit. Wasn't laughing when it started.

Ordered a new chair

Corsair T3 Rush, I wanted something with fabric instead of PU leather.

My previous chair is ~6 years old and a cheap staples executive desk chair with PU leather that has been peeling for a few years now. Over the last 2 years it's also acquired a ~10 degree tilt to the left that's getting annoying (wobbles around and makes a lot of noise)

It was on sale at Best Buy for $22, and since it has the Movie Anywhere digital codes, I figured I'd add an extra helping of "marauding penises" to my movie collection.

I really wish I never watched the horror documentary on the original movie, because ever since then I can't get that description out of my head when I see a Xenomorph. :(

Ever since they first approached him to make concept art for the movie, H.R. Giger has been open and honest about the phallic imagery.
