True. On the right, up is down & day is night when need be. In that context, "drain the swamp" is a catch phrase meaning whatever happens is obviously what Donald meant in the first place.
So, you're angry (triggered, stressed, anxious, fearful, upset, beside yourself, pick whichever works best for you) because Trump is not living up to what you perceive to be his promises. Promises that if or when fulfilled will lesson your influence, negate your causes and gut the 0bama legacy. And not only are you angry because of that, you're angry because the right is not sharing your anger regarding your interpretations of what Trump has said.

The arrogance of the progressive left on display again. How dare those below me not think like I do!

Is Guantanamo closed?

Why hasn't Trump spoken up when it comes to foreign policy?
Because he's not President yet.........ooops!
That you cannot ascertain the difference between words and actions seems like it would be something you would not announce to the world thereby removing all doubt. Congrats?

You have it wrong- Trump is living up to my expectations, as are his beguiled followers. I mean, he could shoot somebody, right?

We'll get what we get, 'tis true, just don't say nobody tried to warn you.

I don't think hypocrisy is exactly right except at the most superficial level. Yes he says one thing and does another but he never has had a consistent position to begin with. He's been left and right and who knows what. He's Trump and having a consistent position based on, oh anything, isn't him. He lives in the now without referencing the past or consideration for the future. To my way of thinking hypocrisy requires prior consistency, but Trump says one thing, another the next and denies both the third time. More of a cognitive and lack of principle issue. That's why I often disagree with people who predict Trump's behavior on specifics. He's not a Conservative. He's not a Republican. His past behavior suggests those terms mean nothing to him nor does he display a consistent intellectual or moral stance on anything. Leaves in the wind. His only steady trait is to be unsteady. In one word he's chaotic.

I agree with a lot of what you say, but his cabinet picks are the most consistent I've seen from any president-elect that I know of. He wants people that think and act like him, which amounts to either fellow billionaire business-minded folks that are greedy self-serving profiteers (like Trump) or politicians that enable these very wealthy folks to do just as they please (like how Trump will be as soon as he takes the oath of office).

Trump has an unswerving agenda, and it's to serve himself first, his family second, and by the consequences of the former, every other very wealthy person that can go along for Trump's ride to riches.

There's just no getting around that. His cabinet picks prove it.

Yeah, that's what we need is a chaotic president.

It is possible Trump may drain the swamp. IMO the first step in draining the swamp is to reduce wars and overseas involvement. The military is the driver in big government.

As for stuff like picking rich guys for treasury, meh. There are certain parts of his cabinet where it is clear he doesn't care, liked education secretary.

I have no doubt he will continue to get an A+ on your report card no matter what he does. 🙂
That seems like a good business opportunity for Donnie, Inc. He should start selling an "A+" rubber stamp (made in China, of course) with a pad of red ink. It's a perfect metaphor that would save so much time and effort for his devoted flock. They're going to rubber stamp everything he does anyway, and Donnie's "plans" are awash in red ink; Donnie could make both literal.

When he does something i strongly disapprove of i'll post it in the forums. After all it took Obama a few days of being President before he said something real stupid that I strongly disapproved of, but then elections have consequences, and at the end of the day, Trump won.

Curiosity leads me to ask, what was it that he said a few days after being elected that you felt was "real stupid" and that you "strongly disproved of"?
