The hypocrisy of the Bush administration

Lucky

Lifer
Bush received the same corporate loans he now decries as detrimental; this is on top of the lawsuit filed against Cheney's relating to his companies overstated profits. Not to mention the insider-trading allegations that the president faced. (and which the SEC wont release the file for.)

All these changes called for are a farce. :frown:

He's calling for the banning of those loans because the practice has been abused. The lawsuit filed against Cheney was filed by the same group of crackpots who are suing Iraq for training Timothy McVeigh

. If you read the actual timeline of what happened with GW's stock sale it is clear to me that it was simple oversight and he was trying to raise cash for his purchase of the Rangers. All politicians are hypocrites as are most people.

Hey! No fair using logic and fact when debating a Bush basher. 😉

Um...should we bring up how Clinton should be in jail for many things he did in office...
This same group was responsible for going after Clinton and revealing thousands of documents/emails that weren't previously discovered.

Whether these Bush/Cheney issues get discounted, its no secret they've been in bed with big business and without this support they wouldn't be in office. They definitely are the wrong people to lead the clean up in this corporate mess.

1) Gore lost get over it.

2) Bush is the right man to call for these changes, just like clinton was the right man calling for campaign finance reform after he and Gore broke every stinkin' law in the book.

3) Dick Cheney before he dicks you. 😀

Bush 2004!

So the loans amounted to $180K. At the time they were legal. Surely you can find something more inprotant to fuss about.

No actually they can't. That's why it's so pathetic.

I'm happy to see so many Bush supporters in here. Bush in 2004, definitely. I'm not going to comment on Bush's previous business deals, but what's the purpose of crying hypocrisy? Regardless of Bush's behavior in the past, he's fighting corruption. Would it be better if he looked the other way, to avoid being a hypocrite? If OJ proposed legislation against domestic violence, I would support it.

Dems....still mad that Gore lost.

Is it me or is anyone else disgusted by the politicians from both parties. Party of Lincoln, party of Roosevelt. Please. :|
These parties stand for nothing anymore.
Is nothing not bought or sold in Washington? A major house cleaning is in order. There is really no difference or any choice between the two parties. What's the point of voting?
American people need to learn government, and stop listening to these dumb commercials paid for with special interest money.

There is really no difference or any choice between the two parties.
Nobody wants to hear or believe that, even if it is true. They keep buying into the lies and empty promises and hope for the best. Meanwhile, the Ds and Rs trade power every 4 or 8 years and we steer toward fascism either way.

It's becoming more and more difficult for third parties to get noticed. The mainstream media is no help since the elite media and the two main political parties do each other with lubricant. I know not where it will all lead.

which benefits, mostly, the oil companies. someone has to sell them all that lube.

The hypocrisy of the Bush administration
Is still way better than that of the former administration........................remember the "Family Values" push of our last commander in cheif?????? Happened about the same time as the infamous "I did not have sex with that woman" speech didn't it????? 😉
