My youngst brother is gay . I still love him. I do not respect or like him tho. What I am seeing from the left is that many seem to not be at eas with their sexuality. Meaning their thoughts often lean towards the same sex. The right is more confortable with their sexuality and therefore is comfortable with the reality that gays /lesbians are abnormals . Were the left pushes its agenda to the point they teach homosexuality is alright in the school system . The left pushes their agenda onto their children who no longer respect their parents . The left has done a good job of dividing.

As this year carries forward many many will backtrack . I say to you this . Back tracking will be useless. Your choices you have made. Their is no change of heart or mind going forward. You have brought destruction on yourselves. Or are you blind to whats happening around yourselves.

I'll address the first part

Yeah, I get that. "Like" is an emotional response. "Love" is more complicated than that. My wife and I have always loved each other, but there have been times when we haven't always "liked". Love isn't just an emotion, it's a choice. We got through our difficulties by deciding that we wanted our marriage to last and that the other was worth it. That meant work, and working at a relationship takes effort, something that seems to be less and less common.

Consequently we now both love and like each other, and have grown together. That's what emotionally mature people do.


As far as the subject of the OP, this is tragically comic and the creepy mustache guy earns all the scorn he gets.

On what grounds? You can't just arrest people for no reason...and being gay isn't a reason.

Who judges? Our laws tell us how to govern ourselves. Step outside the law and the people become the judge in a court of law.

I can understand loving someone but not liking him, but I hope you don't base it on his homosexuality. Being abnormal is not necessarily being bad, and ultimately your brother's homosexuality is between him and G-d. And who's to say that G-d views homosexuality as worse than eating pork or catfish, or wearing cotton/wool blend clothing? All these things were mortal sins in the Old Testament, and none of them were addressed by Jesus, at least not in the surviving Gospels. (Unless you believe in Paul's version of "Dang it, I KNEW I was forgetting to talk about something before I was crucified." I would never presume to say that any part of the Bible is wrong or of less value - that's a huge judgment to make - but personally I regard the Gospels as Jesus' purest message and therefore G-d's most essential message. I just don't see "Death and damnation to fags!" as a message that anyone, let alone the Creator, would find worthy of His only Son's life, blood and pain. Again, that's an intensely personal judgment we all have to make, but please think and pray on it.)

The left does push its agenda, but so does the right - witness the right's opposition to gay marriage, another form of enforcing our will upon others. Unfortunately both sides are in love with using the authority and armed might of Government to make others live to our satisfaction.

I only referred to the fact we discussed it . I didn't say what the discussion entailed. For me to see he was gay at such an age means he is natural gay. I discussed much with him .Including how he was hurting others. I asked Him how he liked dating Girls and Why he dated girls . I told him that he was abusing his privige with these young women as he had no real feelings for them . We discussed much . But in the end he lost me and now openly admitts . That I was right and he was wrong but way way to late.
