Give me a few minutes to compress it

His execution is imminent. It may have already happenend...[edit]D'OH![/edit]

A White House spokesman said: ?Today marks a milestone for Iraqi people's efforts to replace the rule of a tyrant with the rule of law. Saddam has received due process and the legal rights that he denied the Iraqi people."

Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said opposing Saddam?s execution was an insult to his victims. His office said he made the remarks in a meeting with families of people who died during Saddam?s rule. ?Our respect for human rights requires us to execute him, and there will be no review or delay in carrying out the sentence,? al-Maliki said.

Gosh, I wish the US would restore the Rule of Law right here in the USA. The Constitution is a Terrible Thing to Waste. I also wish we had a Respect for Human Rights that required us to execute GWB...

Good. Payback for 911.

Remind me again what Saddam or any other Iraqi had to do with 9/11?

Not a single thing of course. I'm just babbling, like the pro war freaks, that think Iraq is valid & winnable.

So, Republicans, was it worth 3000 US lives and counting, and hundreds of billions of dollars?

Republicans weren't the only group to vote for the war. Of course, I'm sure you already know that.

seriously, where's my link already? 😛

I was just reading an article about Hussein execution, I guess he asked the U.S courts for an appeal. But it was denied by a U.S Judge.

A U.S. judge refused late Friday to stop the execution, rejecting a last-minute court challenge by the former Iraqi president. from msnbc.com

Now why would a U.S judge have a say in if Hussein is going be executed or not? I'm assuming that would be up to a Iraqi judge.

Maybe so, but it was Bush's idea, even if the Dems signed off on it. But on the other hand, the Democrats already have said that it wasn't worth it. Now it's the Republicans' time to swallow their pride.

Sadaam really was a bastard. I don't believe it was necessary for him to take his evil deeds to the extremes he did just to retain power. Justice has finally been served, IMHO.

We don't, and that's what the judge said. We held him for security reasons, but since his jailing, he has been in the charge of the Iraq government.
