The Human Body's worth....

Consider the average adult man (maybe a 25-year-old dude). No genetic disorders, no diseases, no surprises. Dude dies: states in his will that every part of his body that can be sold (internal organs, bone marrow, eyes etc.) and the money be given to his family. How much can he get for all the parts of his body?

(This is strictly hypothetical😉)

I'd think...maybe $50,000? Or is that not even close?

Well from a strictly basic prespective, a cremated human being has anywhere from $1.62 to $5.00 worth of minerals within the ashes. That's the only thing I can offer up.

..ya..heard that many times. Box of ashes from a 200lb human weighs about 15 lbs.

This has been everywhere in the last few weeks. I've seen it in print, online, and now in a forum. Just seems like it gets around. I never really paid attention. But basic parts are in the couple hundred dollar range to a couple thousand. I forget the whole body value. It wasn't as high as $50k for sure. I think a whole body runs about $10,000.
