There has been absolutely NO evidence proving ANYONE has a soul. We have scanned the human body with every tool we have, and there is no soul to be found. We may find it later, but as of now, there is no proof what so ever.

What type of "material" were they scanning for?

tinyabs Simply believe in God at your last moment and you will go to Heaven

Wow, are you serious? I think you should definitely give that a try. Just right at that last second.

we dont know what material a soul is made of, so just scanning in general for any evidence of one.

Exactly. And if you found *something* but have no idea what a soul is comprised of, how do you call it a soul?

Being one that has experienced all through my life moments of the "supernatural". I am some sort of medium and have come to cross many of us along the line. Backed with being brought up a devoted catholic 18 years and now a scientific logical person. I have seen and experienced things that cant be explained by either side of this story. I used to think the "supernatural" was BS then again. until you actually are there and see it with your own eyes and experience it with your own body of course.

Much like the belief of the great invisible guy in the sky. All knowing yet he sends some of his "children" to a neverending burning underworld. If anything I wouldnt say that jesus did not exist but may have been a great philosopher. Much like the great philosophers of any other time period. They were either revered as a wise "god-like" person or shunned as an outcast. The bible was written by man, dont ever forget that. Taking a trip to the bookstore you can find many books (bibles) written by other followers. If it wasnt good enough the bible was revised more than a tv guide. God gave the right to choose... yes from the thousands of religions out there.

As for how we got here? my answer to that is "why in the world does it really matter?". I mean wasnt that many billions of years ago? Im sure the answer isnt in the past but the future. We will eventually cross the answer to how we got here. Im sure if some people figure it out somehow nobody would believe them or someone would even "erase" them as finding that out would change the face of the world as we know it.

I personally believe in different planes of existence. We in fact could be an afterform of some other worldy place. Just as there are what we call spirits and such floating around...believe me they DO exist. some movies arent that far off either. heh.

OK the law of conservation of energy. Energy doesnt disappear, it changes form. That makes giving birth an actual miracle. Sperm + Egg + Sustinance = complex human. Die? where does that last breath go.

For those who go by many religions and say we are the only intelligent beings in the universe.... I find that kind of ignorant to think that we are the only spontaniously conjured up things in the vast universe.

The bibles of today must have only been a chapter of a really big volume of books. It doesnt explain anything about how mars is red and Uranus's gaseous atmoshpere (I think there was a pun intended). On the other hand scientists cant really explain how the big bang fast forwarded into the creation of the laptop I am using. But... They have a pretty good idea why mars is red and why Uranus has a gaseous atmosphere.

So sorry kids. The answer to this question isnt in the back of the book. You decide. Who knows, you may actually be right ;-)

If the universe is indeed infinite, then it is IMPOSSIBLE for there not to be other life. if the universe is infinite, then it is CERTAIN that there are beings EXATCLY like us, and beings nothing like us.

i agree with that. the universe is just too large and vast for us to be the only beings alive.

Ok, but if something is infinite in distance must it include everything?
