where was the thread where the mods totally pwned ATOT?

it was like a race/contest to 10k replies or someshit, we got really high up there then the mods fucked us all by locking down the thread, moving it to the mod forum, making the necessary # of replies, and then moving it back.

Haha. I seem to remember that.

Wasn't there another one where a member was about to get his 10,000th post and a mod vacationed him for an hour or so to keep him from hitting the mark? Maybe I'm confusing it with the above.
 
The Nebor squirrel thread was epic, but not really ownage. I laughed so hard at it and still remember it. "I can't help but feel that maybe the little guy would have been better off if I had never come into their lives. But it was his own dumbass fault for running the wrong way." 😀

I can't believe it took so long to get the MacBaine post in here.

Half of TheFlyingPig's posts were ownage in some form or another.

I remember that. It was me and either Evadman or ElFenix (I think. ) The thread wasn't locked down though. I created a thread in our recycle bin & just made a lot of posts in it. The other mod joined in. Eventually, we had a couple hundred posts between us in the new thread (and had to follow the 15 seconds per post rule.) Then, when the 10k post thread was about 150 posts away from declaring a winner, I clicked a few buttons to merge the threads together, adding all of our posts into the existing thread. I won & told the person offering the prize to either donate it to a charity, else redo the contest.

Does anyone remember the thread where a new member troll made a poll along the lines of "Do you want me banned?", at which point the moderators edited the topic announcing that ATOT had 24 hours to make their decision. It was an overwhelming yea. His name was Valkyrie-something-or-other IIRC.

CASTIEL 'Buys' a Nissan GT-R

For those of you who didn't experience the epicness, the tl:dr version:

New guy (Castiel) posts dozens of posts about buying a GT-R, eventually claims he has it and the deal is done. People ask for pics, he says he'll get around to it soon, then disappears completely and never posts again.
The funny thing is, he's logged in several times since then, probably by mistake or to see if anyone remembers.
Also funny: Other member/douche (Sinanju) claims to be 24, have a GT-R (amongst other things), and make hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. When asked for pics of GTR that he constantly brings up and brags about, he calls everyone jealous and poor, and then he too disappears forever.

Two douches gone in just ONE thread! THAT is serious ownage, of the highest quality.
 
Didn't read the whole thread, did we cover that thread where the little boy put on his favorite Halo shirt and asked a girl to 'stick out your hand'?
 
The best IMO wasn't just one post but it was a culmination over years with the ATI vs. nVidia wars in the video card forum with that one poster who turned out to be a secret paid representative for nVidia.
