Then there was the guy who seriously tried to claim he's worked for several different country's elite intelligence/special forces units while also having been the first guy to invent and build a multiple CPU chip and on and on and on.

PCResources? A bit before my time here; I can't find the relevant threads.

EDIT: Oh boy ...

For all the people referencing Heller, the icing on the cake is the fact that his "mom" recently registered an account and started demanding that the mods delete some of his old threads.

I can only imagine the lulz in that household if the account actually was his mom.

luvya when he hit that pedestrian with his car, then posted it on here because he had no insurance.

The user I forgot who wanted to get rid of a skunk that was coming around, so he put sleeping pills in a tuna can and the skunk ate it, and fell into his pool and drowned. Some animal lovers here were incensed...

Both threads were deleted long ago I believe.

This reminds me of a similar stupid thread. "Gentlemen, I have done the impossible" or similar, and the OP had live captured a squirrel which he later released into traffic to be immediately run over.

So I got through a few pages of that thread... and all I can say is I just see a couple of people being complete arse wipes to a new person.

Ownage not found (unless I just didn't read enough)

EDIT: I did go a little further... it's more of a self-own than anything.

Eh, you kind of need to know the members in the thread too. As well as know the personae of the participants. I can actually understand someone who wasn't on the forums in 2001 not quite getting the DessertCart thread.

It also helps to know that there were dozens of "down with PayPal" threads cluttering up OT at the time of the DessertCart thread; IIRC, DessertCart could have simply checked the second page of OT and seen an active thread about negative views of PayPal.
