History channel has certainly gone downhill a ton over the last decade or so.... I agree with the other posters that the military channel, and history international haven't been ruined yet ... but history channel is pretty much crap .... way too much garbage. Also, discovery channel sucks, and has for a while.

The History Channel is a load of garbage in general. They had a special called "Earth: 2100" on in December. It was completely preposterous. I can't believe any of the trash that is on this channel anymore. Nothing about it has anything to do with history.

Following their brilliant Pawn Stars marathon for Memorial Day, the History Channel gives us Ice Road Truckers for D-Day.

They need to rename.

I sent them a complaint using the link earlier in this thread. It won't do any good, but at least I said something. They use to have some really cool shows about WWII and perhaps my favorite series was "Barbarians." That was epic.

Watch The Military Channel instead, it is one of the few channels on which I adore just about every program.

which would be nice, except about all of their subsidiary channels are not on non-digital cable lineups.
