The History Channel: Civil War: A Nation Divided Graphic Woes

Just picked this up at gogamer on the cheap. Unfortunately, the graphics are totally messed up- see picture.

I could find no support of any kind for this game on Activision's web site. There is no patch to address any issues either. I Google'd for a solution with no luck.

Does anyone who may have picked up this game had a similar issue. Anyone know of a fix?

I have a Geforce GTX260 with the latest Nvidia drivers.

Help!

Activision Value asked me to send my dxdiag text file. After sending it, I got this response:

Thank you for contacting Activision Value Technical Support. The software was developed before Windows Vista and we have found that while running with Vista it will run at an unplayable framerate. We're sorry but we do not support running this program on Windows Vista.

Thank you, If you have any more questions / comments concerning Activision Value Publishing, Inc. products, please feel free to contact us

Now I can exclude buying any future Activision Value games.

Responses like this from Tech Support really discourage me from going Vista in the first place.

XP for life 😀

Yeah because XP was a rock solid OS when it was released. Considering all things Vista has become far more useable and in less time than XP

I bought the Civil War Secret Missions at Game Spot the other day. Installed it and tried to use it. It starts good enough until the game starts then the picture flashes everywhere without a chance to shoot no more then two shots. With no place to go for support, it's a waste of cash. If you figure it out I would appreciate some help.
