Hilarious. I saw this on Friday afternoon before my flight to Vegas with a bunch of friends...when my girlfriend and I came out of the movie, she looks over at me and is like, "don't get any ideas!"

I'm surprised everyone is saying this movie is good. From the previews I thought it looked like crap.

It's kind of a catalyzing movie because it's pretty dirty and juvenile. That said, I thought it was very funny, as have most critics (e.g., Ebert gave it 3.5/4 stars and wrote a rave review).

I find it amusing that just because I didn't laugh raucously at this movie that somehow means that I'm a person that lives a humdrum life? Perhaps you should stop being so boorish and realize that the movie wasn't exactly my type of comedy.

Heh, if you didn't like it then you didn't like it. I have no qualms with that.

Please list some comedies you found funny so we can see your point of reference.

I didn't dislike the movie.... I thought it was worth seeing and actually recommended it, but I still only laughed maybe once throughout the entire thing.

I usually enjoy the sort of perverted comedy, but it didn't help much that I found the characters a bit too stereotypical... especially Alan in how fucking weird he was. I have a feeling that this movie would be better the second time or maybe if I was a bit intoxicated 😛.

you laughed once? which part? the wolfpack part? that had to be the funniest part of the movie

Honestly it is the only comedy I have seen in a movie theater that was worth it.

I laughed so hard at a couple parts I almost choked..........

it was funny but HARDLY up to the hype people built for it. If the whole movie would have been like the credits it would have been the best movie ever. All-in-all it was good though for sure. Just not up to the super-hype (nothing ever seems to do so).

trailers did not do it justice. my gf and i were laughing nonstop throughout the whole thing. definitely buying the dvd when it comes out.

The trailer made it look like a retarded Will Ferrell type movie that I would want to boycott.

Still haven't watched it. Not cause of the trailer, but because I don't like watching comedies at the theatre. I'll go for Bruno though...

Honestly, I can't even remember anymore. I think I chuckled at that part, but that's about it. I actually let out a bit of a chuckle when someone was talking about the wolfpack part in here... makes me think it will be one of those "amusing to talk about" movies.

great move. id go see it again. hopefully dvd has some great bonnus or extended edition.

everybody who likes this movie needs to rent (or netflix stream) Galafankis's "Live at the purple onion" dvd. One of the funniest things I've ever watched

I was actually at that show at the Purple Onion. That show was good, no doubt, but he has had better shows. First time I ever saw him, he did a good 45 minutes straight of just improv, the guy is a genius! I think because they were filming him at the Purple Onion he was kind of on a leash, you should see him at a show where he can do where ever the fuck he wants, amazing!

Just came back from seeing the movie and it was hilarious! I have been waiting so long for a real good comedy to come out and an R-rated one at that, Im tired of this PG-13 shit!

"Hey what the fuck! Hes getting pretty close to the shaft"!
