Here is the officer who shot that traitorous Ashli Babbit. Officer Michael Byrd saved a lot of lives that day. Of course when the maggats see him it will double their outrage.

‘My Name Is Michael Byrd’: Capitol Officer Who Shot Ashli Babbitt Reveals Himself in NBC Interview, Says He Saved ‘Countless Lives’ (msn.com)

it was a good shot and he did what he had to do, but it didn't necessarily save any lives. if you watch the video again, you will notice that a heavily armed (semi-autos) swat type team was at the spot of the shooting within seconds.

and it should always be noted that she had a Trump flag around her waist like a misplaced super hero cape and it is he who has her blood on his hands.

He was guarding the last choke-point. If he let her through, the rest would have followed, and it would have been a chaotic mess, almost certainly resulting in more lives lost.

This is one of the most justified shootings I have seen.

You have to be really stupid to proceed towards someone who is pointing a gun at you telling you to get back or they will shoot, let alone through a window you broke. This isn't a god damn movie, this is real life.

But again, these weren't the brightest crayons in the box in the first place.

Of course right on cue Fox News gets on the air after Lester Holt's interview and proceeds to denigrate the officer and make excuses of Babbit.

Have to please that racist base.

that's so worthy of a read....smack down after smack down on maga lawyers

4/ Attorneys argued the zip code the briefs were sent to was wrong. The judge notes the briefs were sent to 'the exact addresses provided by Plaintiffs in their filings.' This is so vital: These 9 attorneys attempted to gas-light and lie right to the judge.

The judge's order there is highly recommended reading. It's pretty easy reading for a legal document and is very informative as to the monstrous misconduct of these Trump surrogates. What a disgrace to the legal profession. What a disgrace to America.

Per my reading yesterday he actually does have a claim and can claim executive privilege. Problem is ultimately the current President is the one who decides what is or is not classified.
The former President does have a right to say no and appeal to the courts.

Just like everyone else?

Just like everyone else?

Presidents...especially those with something to hide...claim executive privilege to try to hide things they don't want to see the cold light of day. Sometimes it works...and with Trump packing the USSC with conservatives...

The issue is his own picks have gone against him. It's almost like some people respect what they were given and don't need to kiss his ass anymore.

The SCOTUS has ruled against Trump on many occasions, so I don't think that is a valid argument anymore. Yes, he packed the courts, with the hope it would be in his favor, but that hasn't been the case.

Unlike Trump, many of those he appointed actually have some ethics... not a lot, but some. The local drug dealer in your town has more ethics than Trump.

We can only hope...

The insurrectionists have already won, and sleepy America doesn't even realize it. I don't know if there will ever be another 1/6/21, bit if they control all the levers, they don't need to.

Stupid? Arrogant? Insane?

According to court documents, a now-defunct social media account alleged to belong to Courtright contained multiple photos of the January 6 riot with captions that read, "can't wait to tell my grandkids I was here!" and "Infamy is just as good as fame. Either way I end up more known."

Appearing virtually before Judge Christopher Cooper, the one-time University of Kentucky student now sounded uncomfortable with her notoriety, describing herself as "shaky." Asked how she pleaded to the charge, Courtright seemed tearful when she replied, "I plead guilty."
seems she's not so proud of her infamy now.
