Well, the rubbery flip flops I don't really like on a guy, some can pull them off, but those sandals I posted are game, I think.

See, these guys all look fine. Maybe it's just you and CPA are in a cooler climate and shoes would be wore there most of the time anyway due to the weather.

No, my feet are fine. In fact, I get made fun of for having girls feet (for some reason I have hairless feet with really nice smooth nails). It's just that guys that tend to go bare-toed in public a lot of times should not.

This. Go anywhere near a beach in socal without flip flops and people will look at you funny. I used to hate them also, but my friends gave me endless amounts of shit when we'd go surf, until I finally caved a bought a pair.

Was it cold or warm in that pic? Hoodies (on all three), AND sandals (on all three)? Oh, they're the McDLT version of people.

Ohhhh, I didn't think of cobbler. I'll make some tomorrow! Plentiful, but those in fields were dry and small. The ones along my stream were big, plump, and juicy. I didn't know the correct name for thimbleberries until just this year. Once I mentioned them to a few other outdoors types, they knew exactly what I was talking about. They're similar in color to red raspberries (I picked some of those yesterday too, but they'll likely be the last I find this late in the season for them.) They're wider than a raspberry though. They're more like a rounded coat button, about as wide as my thumb. (just google images it) Big purple flowers. My friends said that occasionally they'll find a plant here or there. But, I have a huge patch of them - I've never seen a large patch before. And, they're going to be loaded in about a week.

And, I'm still wearing my flip flops. 🙂 They're the most comfortable footwear when walking in and out of streams.
 
I use to never wear em, but now I wear sandals whenever I'm not working during the summer months. Can't stand flip flops though. Haven't had anyone tell me to hide my feet yet.

Cody's the man, watch Dual Survival. Unless it's an extremely cold environment (or in public) he is barefoot wherever he goes. He's been barefoot for something like 20 years and made his name by surviving on his own in the Arizona desert. Yes, barefoot. Eventually the body will adapt and your sole will thicken to the point where you can walk over almost anything.

You should do your wife's pedicures, and see what she says about that.

If you mean you cut your own toenails and clean out the crud yourself thats not considered a pedicure. thats basic toenail hygiene.

It's more like: "I'm not going to ignore 6 million years of evolution by wrapping my feet in $100 chinese sweatshop produced stabilifoam gel injected performance wear."

My feet are typical little western world bitches when it comes to the soles, but thinner footwear = win for me. Flipflops = win. Vibrams = win.

What I don't get is the people who wear their shoes in the house. Like, wtf?

Heh - I do the pumice stone to remove dead skin, cuticle oil to push back nail cuticles and get rid of those white bits of skin around the nail, and a nail buff. Usually do it once a week after a "grooming" shower where I get everything in order (shave the neck beard, trim around the ears, get rid of nose/ear hair, clear the pores, moisturizer, etc).

You should have told that woman that some women shouldn't go out with bare faces and that she needs to have a paper bag over hers.
