Flipflops are unsuitable footwear for anyone. Shoes, sandals, or bare feet are acceptable.

I love my flip flops. Heck, I even work in the barn wearing them. Just went out for a walk with the wife tonight down our stream, picking a quart or so of blackberries and thimble berries. That was one place I didn't like flip flops - walking through the thorny bushes to get to the berries. I didn't like shorts there either.

How often do most women wear them? Most women I know don't wear them that often, and I see a lot more ugly man feet than women feet. : /

Not often enough...women go up at least a point for wearing heels, likewise for skirts and dresses

ridickulous :p

it keeps you cooler not having to wear socks/shoes, and it doesn't turn you gay or anything. :p

i actually think it's odd seeing a guy in the summer wearing shorts, tshirt and wearing sock & sneakers unless it's for running or something.

what do you wear on your feet when you go to the beach?

Well, normally I don't hit the beach because I hate the sand, BUTTTTTTT, if I did I would arrive in sneakers and socks, then take them off.

Sorry, it's not a gay thing, I just can't stand them.

I felt the same way until I started surfing, then I was cured of such ridiculous notions...it's just not practical

That would be a huge NO! Mandals, flipflops, showershoes, none of these belong on men's feet.

A person wearing shorts and then shoes and socks look a lot worse then using sandals and get made of a lot more for doing that.

That woman can shove it. I don't have nasty feet, and I trim my nails regularly. I sure as hell don't get pedicures, and if I want to wear flip-flops I will.

This.

It's one thing to be walking around with fucking gangrene, but if you at least shower and trim your nails I don't see what the big fucking deal is.

stockings + garterbelt adds 3 points. 4 if the stockings themselves are interesting.

By points you mean "ATOT rate this woman on a scale from 1 to 10" points? Because that would turn a 1 into someone of average attractiveness. :colbert:

no, i rate on my own scale.

Which is...? I understand how certain types of clothing can make someone more attractive, but srsly, unless the clothing is actually negative (filthy, too showy, burka, etc) I don't see how it could be such a big deal.

My feet will never see a flip flop, not because I have nasty feet, but because flip flops on men are just wrong.

I could not agree more, but sandals are OK for men

This. Wtf on a man getting a pedicure. I had an ex-gf that was like this and she even thought the hair on the tops of my toes and instep of my foot was gross. Bitched endlessly about me showing my feet in public...

I'm at work today "Saturday" to help out for a few hours. We can wear anything we want on Saturday, and 7 out of 10 people (men and women) are wearing flip-flops.

Of that group, 4 are guys (including me), and one of the women made a comment that guys shouldn't go out with bare toes unless they get a pedicure.

However, men who get pedicures seem to be scorned and made fun of.

What the hell do you want women??????? Make up your minds!!!!

(On a side note, I do my own pedicures and my wife thinks I'm too metrosexual)

Solution: Smile at the commenter, thank her for the wonderful idea, then stick your feet in her face and look at her expectantly.

Bonus points for going commando in a pair of shorts when you do that...

Are the blackberries pretty good there this year where you live? They seem to be plentiful here. I've went out picking twice, once with shorts on too. That is what you call "not thinking". :p

Do you freeze them or just use them as you pick, and what are "thimble berries"? Are they like what we call black caps?

Mmmmm, blackberry pie and blackberry cobbler. :)

next time tell them instead of looking at your toes they should swing their eyes up a couple of feet and check out another anatomical part of yours.

She's telling you that your feet are gross. Go out and get a pedicure. Result will be clean, attractive feet suitable for flip-flops. Don't tell anyone or brag about getting a pedicure and nobody will know or scorn you. Hot girls at the office take notice of your excellent grooming habits. WINNING

Seriously. Women will see toes filled with toejam and long, unkempt toenails and associate that with you Johnson. They will not want to go down on a guy who leaves exposed body parts in nasty condition. Ignore my advice at your own peril.
