Episode VII was total ass. Nearly Jar-Jar Binks bad.

Hey now. SW-VII had some incredible flaws and the best bits were shamelessly copied from 4-6, but let's be real here. The worst aspects of 7 did not get close to Jar-Jar or Hayden bad. You need to go back and re-watch 1-3 again because I think you've forgotten what a horror show those two characters were.

They forgot forgot Pineapple Express.

I hate emo-ridden-angst-filled douchebag Han Solo spawn even more than child Anakin. At least Anakin was young and had an excuse to act that poorly.

A list like this that omits Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon (2000) or Cidade de Deus (2002) can't be taken seriously. And at least one pre-Disney film from Pixar should be on the list as well.
Agree 100%, but Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, eh, left me cold. By and large I'm unimpressed with that list. My favorite there is #6, Eternal Sunshine.

Highlighted are the ones I think really worthy. I've seen all but about 2 of these. I suppose the Lord of the Rings films are up there too, but I'm not wild about them.

Mad Max wasn't bad, I really enjoyed it but it is in no way deserving any kind of best movie of the 21st century in any way let alone being nominated for an academy award for best movie.
AFAIC, all the Mad Max movies should be tilled under.

Lost In Translation being on the list makes it a non-starter,
About the only decent movie on that list. Until I saw the imdb list I was thinking this has been a really bad 16 years for movies. Movies in general through are far too formulaic and blockbuster oriented these days.

I'd say almost half of the IMDB list is blockbusters. Far too many cartoons too. The list in the OP is far, far superior.

11. Inside Llewyn Davis (Joel and Ethan Coen, 2013)

How did this make the list? One of the Coen brothers weakest movies.

Where was Nebraska, Argo, Dallas Buyers Club, Kings Speech, Capote, The Aviator?
