Saw the movie. Guess who dies in a pool? Elmo? Or does the person die in a shoot out. Or does the person did the person get murdered by a mad cow?

I love that book. I like how deep and rich the characters are, while being shallow at the same time. Fitzy was a great writer, it's too bad he turned to the bottle.

I read it this year also. I am sad to say that the book did not have such a profound effect on me. :(

He has some excellent short stories as well. Unfortunately, his best novel is his last, which is unfinished -- The Last Tycoon. I read what is written, and it was fantastic.

Such a waste to die so young.

liked it but didn't love it. Atlas Shrugged is probably my favorite book, but really only the first 600 pages...the second half is kind of fantastical and repetitive of the first half.

i was 'forced' to read the hobbit when i was in fifth grade, i think that's the best book i had to read. who's afraid of virginia wolfe was pretty good, as was lord of the flies

See this is why atot shouldn't ban pr0n. 9th and 10th grade is like what? 13 and 14? And they got complimentary tittieladyed. Now why didn't we ever get that? But at least my math teacher and bio teachers were hotties. cue music: Van Halen - Hot for Teacher.
