I searched a couple of times for a thread for this and only came up with the Top Gear Reboot thread. If there's another one out there, I'll just say "oops" and mumble something about how the search engine sucks.

I've been looking forward to this show starting for a while now, and it appears according to this article that the US gets it a day early.

I'm halfway through the first episode and it's been good so far. I missed the boys.

Which reminds me, if you you use the WAZE gps app you can get Clarkson, Hammond, and May as the voice.

The downside to splitting up the forums so much is it's easy to miss things.. I'd never think to look in the "garage" sub-forum for a TV show.. even one about cars.

I'd prefer it if the social forums (except P&N, that's where OT deports its crazy to) were all rolled back up into Off Topic. It would certainly make the moderation easier and more consistent, at least.

Replied in the Garage sub forum. Cliffs: it was fun to watch! Glad to see them back!

Just watched the opening sequence and you can smell the money being burned!
That's definitely the way to open a show!

I'm pretty sure everyone on these forums agrees on the sentiments of combining forums back into a general OT forum, but for some reason the people who run the show are dumb and don't get it. There are even numbers to back up the fact that the forum was way more active back then, but that also could have to do with the rise of social media happening around that time.

But I mean what would we know, we only have been using this place for nearly 2 decades.

What's even more amazing is how well it burns! Mental note... if I ever get a Tesla and get into an accident with it that damages the battery pack... GTFO of there!

No shit! That was a hell of a fire for a car with no gas in it.

Am watching it, I don’t think it’s very interesting so far.

What's odd is that I actually liked most of the celebrity interviews that they did, but the one with the Hoff and... that other guy just seemed odd. The previous interviews had them joking around more and telling amusing stories about their car history. In fact, the times when they had two people were usually the best because the two would play off each other as well, but that probably wouldn't work as well since these two didn't seem to know each other.
