I was reading somewhere that in Georgia, the country, where they do a lot of bacteriophage treatment reasearch, they look for the phage virus candidates in sewage, because that's where they can find both human pathogenic bacteria and viruses that co-evolved to infect those specific bacteria.

A good idea for areas where public sewers are available, where population density can make a difference.

I remember reading articles about Covid-19 sewage monitoring awhile ago. This is nothing new.

POE was this first thing that popped into my mind, but I suspect people are tired of my movie references.

Nope. I was just amused by the tone of the news article. We had a septic tank back when I was growing up, but now, thankfully, I get to pay sewage fees on every gallon we use, even if we just use it to water our strawberry plants in the back yard.

Expecting payment for a product or service, the nerve.

Damn soshulists.

Buy manure and flush some down the toilet every day at the same time just to screw with them. :p

That makes sense. Ivermectin in the manure would kill the COVID virus and cause the numbers to be skewed.
