The generic works just as well..............?

Aluminum Foil. Not Saran Wrap though, the generic Saran Wrap is full of ass and poo. 🙁

Random things. My shopping habits are weird though. I enter a grocery store with absolutely no idea what I want. I walk up and down the aisles and whatever I happen to be looking at when it occurs to me that I want something is what I buy. I don't comparison shop for price or anything. So I end up with a random assortment of generic or name brand items.

our store (the fabulous H-E-B) has a couple of house brands - most of it is great. i buy their ground beef and frozen chicken breasts, among other things..

Almost everything. I can remember thinking my parents were so cheap for not buying the branded groceries on some items and not having cable tv.

Now I buy almost exclusively store brand stuff and I don't have cable either. lol.

DO NOT BUY THE CAREONE generic brand of razor that emulates the mach 3 or whatever. You would have greater success shaving with a circular saw.

Completely depends on what the medicine is.

For instance, generic Vicodin is fine but I wouldn't trust generic Coumadin at all.

It's been found that some, not all, generics are not what they portray to be. This happens since generics aren't required to submit to real testing of their drugs by the FDA; instead, the FDA depends entirely upon reports of the drugs' effectiveness and ingredients from the maker.

Unfortunately, it's been found time and time again that the generic maker never tested anything of theirs but instead just submitted a copy of the "real" drug's testing reports and cut/paste their name and maker in place of the "real" drug maker.

i have a few pet peeves where generics dont work....

i must have costco's charmin double roll, its so soft on my ass

i must have name brand cereals, the off brands dont do it for me... i f-ing love cereal

i must have name brand soy sauce, it has to be kikkoman

i must have name brand orange juice, i may be a fool but it just tastes better

I typically buy the store brand unless I've had a bad experience with it before. As IceBergSLiM pointed out. Don't buy the cheap/store brand razors. They all suck.

OMG where do you come up with FUD like that. Generic's have to test thier drugs and they have to prove they are the same.
The active ingredant in a generic is the same as the name brand. Now the filler can be different but the filler can not change how the main drug works though.

QFT. the generics must follow the same guidelines.

btw, if you used DE razors you wouldn't have to worry about expensive razors again. $1.50 for a pack of 10!
