medicine
Completely depends on what the medicine is.
For instance, generic Vicodin is fine but I wouldn't trust generic Coumadin at all.
It's been found that some, not all, generics are not what they portray to be. This happens since generics aren't required to submit to real testing of their drugs by the FDA; instead, the FDA depends entirely upon reports of the drugs' effectiveness and ingredients from the maker.
Unfortunately, it's been found time and time again that the generic maker never tested anything of theirs but instead just submitted a copy of the "real" drug's testing reports and cut/paste their name and maker in place of the "real" drug maker.
OMG where do you come up with FUD like that. Generic has to test thier drugs and they have tp prove they are the same.
The active ingredant in a generic is the same as the name brand. Now the filler can be different but the filler can not change hwo the main drug works though.
