The Geforce 2 Stutters in 32 Bit color!!!

Well after extensive testing, with 3 graphic intensive games (alice, heavy metal fakk2, and nolf)i have concluded that the geforce has a definite problem in 32bit color. Compared to 16bit color it is far less smooth and it stutters heavily. In alice, in certain areas with lots of baddies, the geforce will actually pause for a second during heavy fights. In 16bit color i only experience a slight dip in the fps. I also see much more harddrive paging in 32bit color. Note i have my swap file all configured so don't go blaming that as the problem.

I'm guessing you have the 32MB Leadtek board. It's limitation to the amount of texture memory. If you were to run the game with a 64MB board the problem would be eliminated. Thats why I got a 64MB GeForce 2 Ultra. The texture swapping with high res textures enabled was to much for me. Theres one thing you can do and thats to lower the texture quality.
