The 'gayest' thing I've ever seen

Nah, gay is the right word

It *is* a duet by a man and a woman. I don't know that I'd describe that as "gay". It's definitely not *good*, though.

Just remember that gay has been redefined, BBC

Cool link. I think that's been common knowledge for a long time now, but homosexuals think everyone is out to get them, so when I call something gay, I am just being homophobic.

Nowadays the bad connotation for a homosexual person has become "i love you." Note, I am just describing what I believe is the modern "bad word" for a homosexual, not calling anyone it.

I think the word gay should be allowed to be used without penalties since it's meaning has definitely changed. Just like the human species, the languages we use evolve.

It's just ridiculous. They want to be a lovely human and want rights and crap, but you can't call them a lovely human or a gay or they get all upset. Hell some of them get upset if you call them homos.

Anyone that uses it in that sort of context is still considered very immature however.

"Gay" used to be a bannable offense, but it's obvious you mean "happy" and not the sexual preference meaning of the word. They certainly are the "happiest" people I've ever seen.

What is ridiculous about that? How is it any different from *any* other persecuted group in history that didn't want to be called offensive names?

"You can't call them a ****** or they get all upset."
"You can't call them a beloved patriot or they get all upset."

No ******, they get upset.

Also, "them" is plural.
