No, I've participated in a handful of ATPN threads, thank you. I just wanted to highlight the disrespect you've shown to people trying to have a rational discussion. Then you tried to deflect and say your comments were "topical and relevant." And I pointed out that calling someone a "crybaby dumbass" is not topical or relevant. Your name calling is really out of line.

This thread clearly demonstrates whats wrong with P&N. Fixing it is simply a matter of establishing a few simple rules, and enforcing them.

It ain't rocket science, it's basic respect. Anyone that doesn't understand how that works is incapable of having an adult conversation, and has no business discussing politics, because they don't grasp what it is. If you have to hurl insults and resort to name calling, then you don't understand the subject, you're simply parroting something you've heard elsewhere.

I also noted that the "thin skinned" Doc didn't engage him after repeated attacks.

Does this relate to the topic of this thread? I think it does. P & N is a place where folk can and do manifest their mental illness, the pain they suffer as egos, the desire to dominate and control, to come out on top, to punish for past defeat, etc. It's also a place where constant rubbing up against the sickness of others can perhaps by chance spare elements of recovery, those rare moments where you see what you hate in the other is yourself. We are all the same.

The thing is we have contributors that are capable of respectful legit discussion and those that aren't.

Then the huge middle that are capable but often choose not to. But I think it's the lure (for purpose of example) of incorruptible types OPs.

I know when I see a incorruptible OP the entire thing will be a shit show, like a car wreck I simply can't avoid looking.

When I read the hypocrisy, the flat out refusing to address legit points in favor of responding to hyperbole and insults, I , if in the mood will point it all out. If not I'll skip it and head over to DC where those sorts of ridiculous OPs just don't fly.

You can't have a legit thread about women's issues or anything vaguely related without the resident woman hater polluting it with non stop circular discussions. How many posts trying to compare vagina's to noses do I have to read before I deem the forum lost for the day?

So when it comes to P&N there are a handful of people that keep this place a cesspool. They wouldn't have it any other way, they like and thrive on slop.

Good dialogue and discussion is the exception here not the rule.

And it will always be that way, because the problem isn't calling someone an idiot or an asshole the problem is when people line up on your side of the fence are acting like douchebags the only people calling them out ares the same ones that don't agree ideologically.

Until we keep our own respected houses clean of nonsense this place will be entertainment value only.

That said Phokus has been a complete douche in this thread and maybe if some liberals had called him out for it earlier Londo wouldn't have had to.
