the future of les stroud

IDK but I'm still disappointed that he's done making Survivor Man.

I just got his book though and it seems decent.

i wonder how much it would be to have les stroud come and do a speech, im sure more than i want to pay or possibly even afford.

I heard he is going to be on set releasing extra wild animals, tripping snares, and pissing in the local water supply for Bear Grylls and crew

I'd pay to see that.

I've seen Grylls make and use more weapons and tools than Stroud.

Grylls would find a large branch and break his neck then eat him raw, uttering between bites of raw flesh, "oh this is so fresh".

I think they'll just re-run his old shows and call them new ones. It's hard to tell them apart.

Les builds a leaky shelter. Bitches about having to haul his camera gear. Fails to catch any food. Eats some plant roots. Bitches about having to haul his camera gear. Makes his customary speech about what it takes to survive. Hightails it out before he dies of malnurishment.

I saw him on the Green channel yesterday, or maybe HGTV, or one of those, where him and his family are building a cabin in the woods somewhere to be able to live off the grid (the show was called "Off The Grid" aptly enough). Anyway, looked like a series of shows and not just a one off. So maybe he'll do that for a season or two.

The program guide on dish network does that. Sometimes it seems to label old survivorman shows with (2008). I start watching it and start saying to myself 'I think I've seen this before...' and then when it's almost over 'oh yeah I have seen it before!'
