I had an amazon gift card so I went ahead and spent it on a furminator. Believe it or not, it actually works as advertised. I bought the small one, and used it on my Corgi, and it really does pull a lot of the loose hair out(topcoat and undercoat). Much more then the standard brush.

Youtube videos and amazon reviews also praise this item.

With the cold weather coming, and not being able to leave your dog outside in the cold, this is a good way to keep your dog inside, and also keep your house hair free!

how funny, I use it on my corgi too.


those mother fuckers shed SO MUCH. No warning on the internet could prepare me for such an onslaught of hair/fur

We get tons of fur off our dog using it and it stops her from getting fur all over the place for at least a little while afterward. I was skeptical about it when my wife wanted to get it but I have to say I'm quite impressed. We've had ours for just under a year.

one of my friends swears by / recommends the furmination process for her cat.

I just got it today actually. I just know that when you brush it, it does really get more hair than a standard brush.

I've read/heard that users will brush every couple months with this. not sure if true or not.....

Something about small dogs I guess. My Jack Russell leaves drifts of hair under the furniture a couple of days after a complete vaccuum of the house. I don't know how he does it.:confused:

Works great on my lab/golden retriever mix. Was recommended by a friend of my mom that owns a dog grooming shop.

Poor saps. My short/long dachshund mixes leave no fur! I suppose they make up for it by shredding as much tissue around the house as they can, though.

yes it works, best shedding brush there is. I think they offer a full refund if you aren't satisfied, not sure though.

Well, huskies only shed twice a year. Too bad each lasts 6 months...

For a husky, I'd say every day would work. We had two when I was growing up, but they were mostly outdoor dogs. They really didn't like being inside, too warm and there was nothing to dig up.

This is getting way off track, but they used to dig out under the fence and wander the neighborhood. I remember my dad buried two feet of concrete under the fence line to stop that. Turned out that they could both jump the 6' fence. Whoops.

oh come on... i used to think they were too freaky looking but after having grown up with this one's mom recently, they really grow on you :p

besides, you'll change your mind after seeing ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOPUG
