I get to buy all kinds of stuff, even though most of it isnt really fun items, but hey a stainless steel strainer could be cool right? ;)

Picked up a new stainless steel trashcan, some small bathroom items and a Brita water filter for the kitchen!
Now I am going to go and look into some livingroom furniture.

Thanks Zim! I am feeling ALLOT better than I was last week! I realized that this whole thing is 50% my fault and 50% hers.

I also took some of Geekbabe's advice (yes thats right Geekbabe...you were right...I said it...let the I told you so begin!:))

It is over, it doesnt matter why anymore, it doesnt matter if she has or doesnt have someone else, it doesnt matter if i have someone new or if either of us were happy or not, there is no going back and I need to move on and accept all this stuff and so does she...which i feel I am doing well now.

I know that some things will be tough, like when we go to mediation for the custody stuff, but thats to be expected!

Actually very well, they want me to be sure and get a 3 bedroom apartment or house so they can both have their own room. :)

Well it seems that you've figured out the sooner you get on with your life the better. The fact that you've been able to do that in such a short time is great. When I got divorced it took me over a year to finally stop dwelling on it. That was a year wasted IMO.

Yup! It will be tough at times, but I feel better now. I dont want to dwell on it, that wont do anyone any good.

Good idea! Of couse it is Maine and it would be frozen right now. :)

There arent any places with pools here, funny how that is..probably because you only get to use them for 3-4 months of the year.

Don't worry SaigonK, when my boss broke up with his ex he had to buy a house. Then he went on a shopping spree to fill it up.

I think his running total is somewhere close to $260k at this point. And he's still going
