Update: Wowie, it actually worked =D Installed and activated with the OEM key just fine. I get to use an extra gig of ram that my laptop came with that never worked before. Thankyou much <<geeky-happy-dance>>

No. You are in effect surrendering your Windows XP license for the Win7 license.

Not if you're keeping the XP on the same machine and dual booting. Got that from one of the MS engineers.

Like to ask a question though, if I have Home Premium Upgrade installed and activated on one computer, can I removed it and put it on another without having to call India...err...Microsoft?

Remember that you can upgrade to RTM directly which saves all your programs and settings but you need to alter the DVD first.

Slip-streaming SP1 is not officially supported by Microsoft. Your options:

1. Install SP1 via Windows Update.

2. Download the official MSDN/Technet updated SP1 ISO file. Requires MSDN or Technet account.

3. Use RT Seven Lite to make your own.
