The French Fry Poll

nakedfrog

No Lifer
Here we let the various fry-eaters stand up and be counted!
Please note that fries from any other eatery are ineligible for this poll. No Sonic, Rally's, Long John Silver's, Applebee's, In-N-Out, Whataburger, etc, etc.

How do you take yours?
Personally, I like a crispy fry, which is why I prefer BK to McDonald's.

Fresh and soggy, McDonalds, naked(frog)

I do enjoy McDonald's fries when they're crispy... but they usually aren't.
But I've found that I can create quite the tasty analogue by buying a bag of shoestring potatoes for less than a buck at the grocery store and frying them 🙂
Pretty tasty with lemon pepper, actually.

out of your choices.
i chose.

RANCH!
though i use ketchup 98% of the time, i have used ranch on fries...i mostly just wanted to be contrary

but the best fries ever are from Chick-Fil-A. Period. /Thread

Wendy's fries are horrible. They are too soggy and mushy. I want crispy damnit. In fact, the best fries to me are ones that are left in a little bit longer than normal. It's that magical point that's right between "golden" and "brown".

Chick-Fil-A does indeed have tasty waffle fries, but they're not a big enough player to be in this poll. I still have to hit up the Mutual of Omaha food court and see if they let anybody eat there. Otherwise the nearest Chick-Fil-A is a good six hour drive from here.

The best fast food french fries are at establishments and chains that cut their own fries fresh on the premises.

For the east coast, you have Nathans.

For the west coast, you have In'N'Out Burger.

I can find no fault in this post. It resonates with the ultimate frequency of truth and tastiness.

Hmm... Arby's may merit an entry. This, I will ponder.
Mustard falls under "other"

Once again, if you don't like the poll options presented herein, you can make the alternative fry poll and include all sorts of wacky options 🙂

Err, none of those would count as fries in my books.

So do you then courteously abstain?

When the thread title says The French Fry Poll, I expected to find home style at least. But I voted anyway since I am a sheep.
