The Ford Focus is an amazing car

I've been driving a Ford Focus lately, zx5 with the leather interior and its an amazing car. Despite all that is said about American cars, Ford, reliability, etc. I am amazed at the chasis response, the steering feel and handling that the Focus has. Plus, its extraordinarily cheap.

Just for comparison sake, the Focus has better steering than an M3. While it obviously doesn't accelerate as well, the turning/cornering is just as good if not better. Its roomy, great seating position, visiblity and the stereo is good. The leather smells like great as well.

If you guys have a chance, try out the Ford Focus.

Turning and cornering better than an M3...

MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

It's a ford! Need I say more!! 😉😛😀

I've never really been fond of the Ford Focus. If you like it, that's all that matters.

This is precisely why I posted this. Because most people don't know. Its one thing to read about cars in magazines...but steering feel has to be experienced in person.

Now off all the cars I drive, this is really the suprise of a lifetime to discover how great it is.

I had a focus for about 2 years, good solid cars put tons on miles in it. Never gave me a problem.

it is a nice little cheap car... much better value than a civic or a sentra... but its resell value is down the drain due to a number of recalls

well i even consider it as being more reliable than a ford. it's a start for american companies to make a decent car... pfft neon cavalier ion...

but yeah you're definitely overdoing the out-handling an M3 part.

as for the ZX5, i don't recall people really giving it a good review. the ZX3 is the better one.

So how many M3s have you driven and what years?

You are aware that the M3 is generally considered one of the greatest handling cars ever right?

Freebee works for Ford.

Nothing like tooting your own horn.

I used to hate Ford and their trucks. Now I work for them. Ironic isn't it. The Excursion actually drives quite well, it is a bit rough riding, very thirsty and visiblity is so-so. But, once you are on the move, its not so bad.

Currently I like the Navigator. I was driving one a few days ago, very impressed with the car-like handling and pleasant ride. Not allowed to keep one though.

This is right under the Taurus SE Wagon in the Ford performance line 😛

In all honesty, the Focus SVT is one of the best handling cars you can buy under 20k. The new 3 from Mazda inches it out for the title now though.
