Yeah... I ate a big old apple fritter yesterday and I swore them off. I didn't even really enjoy it. Just way too rich for me. I'm going for a healthy alternative next time. Now, soda I don't worry about because I drink diet cola. Figure that's not bad for me. French fries I don't eat much any more, just rarely. Deep fried foods, same thing. Chips, same thing. Mostly, I don't eat that stuff, just occasionally. I do eat some stuff that's not good for me, but I don't make it a habit. Just once in a while. That way I get away with it.
Edit: This guy puts down on caffeinated drinks, but a recent study completed in Japan strongly indicates that coffee drinkers have a much lower incidence of liver cancer, IIRC. Saw it on TV news! There seem to be a lot of differences of opinion on coffee. I drink only organic coffee, BTW. I heard that the pesticides they use on coffee are particularly bad.
