The first time I've ever had any kind of somewhat nice everyday clothes.

Jeans are Sears Canyon River Blues Low Rise Boot Cut in Men's 29. I had to get it hemmed. First jeans I've worn in probably 10 years.

Dark pants are Women's ExOfficio High Tide cargo pants size 8.
Light pants are Women's North Face Paramount Porter convertible cargo pants in size 8.

The first red shirt is a Patagonia Capilene 2 zip neck. I think it looks nice. All other shirts are Mountain Hardwear, some small and some medium. I like MH because mostly all of their shirts have a tapered, athletic fit, not the flat or wide fit that you'll find with North Face or Columbia shirts. I don't like MH because some of their smalls fit me while some don't. It's inconsistent. For the striped long sleeve shirts I had to wear a medium because the diameter of the arm was too narrow, kinda choking my arms in the armpit region.

Do I look ok? I don't think the women's pants look all that bad. The ExOfficio feels amazing and the North Face feels great too, it's just a little tight in the thigh area. I had to get both hemmed as well.

EDIT: I suck at poses.

Which women did you steal these pants from? I'm sure they want them back!

They're a bit tight in the crotch from the looks of it, but otherwise good. Maybe next time look for a "slim-fit" in a men's style.

And if anyone asks you, they're unisex 😉.

1. is this thread, in particular, a joke
2. do you have deep seated psychological problems or is it an internet facade?

Back in my day, if a guy/boy ever wore woman's pants they would be riduculed to oblivion. sigh, how times have changed.

i think im glad that the pic is blocked at work

i clicked it before i realized this was a snorggle thread

They don't feel that tight for me. But I'm admittedly not a tripod.

I have looked all around for slim fits before. The problem is that they are very tough to find when you're looking for HIKING clothing ie. Nylon fabric. Mountain Hardwear seems to be the only one, and unfortunately their sizing is inconsistent and designed for people who are not that well rounded in the shoulders and chest and/or taller than I am. I had to roll up the sleeves on the striped long sleeve shirts by a good two inches because they were too long in Medium.

For regular, non-outdoor brands, I often find that slim fit isn't slim enough. Places like Express have good slim fit shirts, but those are too long for me because they're designed for slim, taller men. I'm only 5'5".

WTF why are you wearing women's pants. At worst drop down to youth sizes...but women's? Good lord.

People have told you what's wrong more than a million times. You refuse to listen - and 100% of it is in your post that I've quoted.

Ah, the tight shirt fad is still in... (Ok, I should shut up, most of my shirts are body hugging.)

They're not that tight... I think having something that's slim fit makes me look more athletic and maybe even a bit taller.

HOLY SHIT THEY MADE YOU LOOK ASIAN!

I mean what do you want me to say? Yeah, you look like someone wearin jeans.......

Ha, I'm only 5'4" (to be more precise, around 5' 4.75"), and buying boy's t-shirts is as far as I'll go. The only places that have stuff that fit me are H&M, American Eagle, occasionally Gap and ya, that's about it.

Oh, I'm sorry. I'm currently recovering from a rather nasty cold.
