The First Non-Readable DVD

My Friend just rented a movie called "Italian Job" from Blockbuster and he tried playing it in 2 of his computer with dvd-roms and it just wouldn't play. However, when he played in on either one of his dvd players, it was perfectly fine. Is this the first DVD movie not to be readable in a dvd-rom?

It could be that you need to install drivers on the DVD ROM for the movie to work. Or look to see what format your Windows Media Player is playing, to see maybe you don?t have DVD movies checked, you can do this by clicking on the tools tab then options then file types, you should tell it to play all types just for the hell of it.
Have other movies worked on the DVD ROM before? Also what OS are you running on the computer that wont run the DVD?

The DVD-Rom is perfectly fine with all other dvds. it's very very weird. And the thing is he, has 2 readers. One on his dell and one on his toshiba laptop recently purchased. Every other dvd worked fine
