I've said for decades that stupid is supposed to hurt, but dammit, I hate seeing American jobs get sent to a foreign country...even "menial labor" types of jobs like making nails.

This is unlikely to change the political views of the laid-off workers...and will probably push them deeper into the fold.

Not only that but Trump is also mistaking the taxpayers of the nation for Mexicans because he's demanding that we, the taxpayers pay for His Wall when he said over and over and over and over again the Mexico was going to pay for His Wall.

So at the least if he's going to do that, he should specify that only the folks who voted for him should pay for His Wall because nobody else wants it except Trump and his thoroughly misguided bamboozled cult followers.
 
I was digging around and found an article from 2011, when we added a fuckload of mining and oil jobs, smack dab in the middle of the alleged shitty Obama economy.

I don’t wish unemployment on anyone but starting a trade war is one of the few things Trump promised during the campaign that he wasn’t lying about. This sort of thing was entirely foreseeable.

If voting for this guy costs them their livelihood and that makes them want to vote for him even more then it’s hard to see what could possibly reach them. Sometimes people are just too far gone.

They've been told that all of their misery and pain is the Democrat's fault, that Trump is fixing it and that's all they needed/wanted to hear. Their reaction of course is "I knew it, I knew it all along!"
