That's essentially right and lots of times P&N is like an accident - you are afraid to look, but you do it anyway. However, each of us has a choice - whether to frequent this section of AT or not.

Heart Surgeon! That was simply wrong. Winning with grace is admirable. You need to let go of your animace. My view is that inspite of all the vitriol thrown back and forth for the most part the regulars that were here in the beginning and will still be here after in reality have a great deal of respect for each other. You need to remember that for most of us it isn't personal it's just what we believe. I share most of your opinions and have taken some abuse for them. I have tried not to be abusive but I know i have slipped up from time to time. Politics can become very emotional you need to keep that in perspective. I was completely ready to support Kerry as president had he won a clear victory. That has not proven to be the case. In fact it has proven to be quite the opposite. My general feeling is that the Pro Kerry gang here is for the most part ready to accept Bush's win and at the very least support the will of the people. There is no call for your ungracious comments. I don't think it will cost you very much to be gracious in victory It is certainly in my view the civil way to behave. More civility in politics would be a refreshing change. Lets start a trend.
