You might try talking to a sales person. I would walk around the store once just to feel out prices and what not then go talk to a person.

Get one that is discreet and has a lock on it. That's the first thing thieves go for when they break in the house.

When you give it to her, you can brag about how when her/your house gets broken into by armed robbers, they won't be able to steal her jewelery.

most girls(including the gf) I have talked to think its "cute" when a guy asks a lot of girls what to get, they take it as a sign that he cares and wants to get something she will like.
