LOL....actually, we have only one speed....the transmission is stuck in high gear! :Q

As far as life away from AT, I can't get to the forums from work anymore as the IT dept. has installed Websense Enterprise and it blocks almost everything now...(No sports, no AT, no Yahoo Finance, no games, no anything except what they want! 🙁)....

Homelife is working my tail off....Spring jobs galore! New Oak Plank Hardwood floor took 5 days last weekend....first spring wash and WAX jobs on the cars.....first spring mow and weed/feed...still have a few shingles to fix on the roof...a deck to restain.....flowers and landscaping to work on! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Trying to find some more time for AT 😀

I've been meaning to have a talk with you Robert about our membership. We have been experiencing a gradual slipping away since the last race that is starting to aggravate me a little more than I would like to admit. I guess the summer doldrums have set in and the space between us and the team above us is still rather large. There is a planned race between us and those "wooden shoed folk" a little later this year but they have just been awesome lately averaging a five digit daily production. :Q

I got an idea from an unnamed competitor the other day. We could get a little "honey pot" of donated items and award it to the "biggest recruiter". The "Recruiter of the Month" would be the person that gets the most new members who have to post to the forum giving credit to the recruiter that got them to join Team AnandTech. The "honey pot" can be whatever individuals feel like donating, such as small computer components (coolers, memory, video cards, floppy drives, whatever) or even Seti WUs.

What do you (and other teammates) think of that?

First reaction is that it could create a few problems - people being too eager to get people to join and infringeing on other parts of this forums for example. We would have to make sure that we didnt get a bad image 🙂

That could get quite a few new members really. However, there needs to be a statement clearing this up - what would the difference be to the 'honey pot' between a new user, and a new person cracking for say my account - in reality there is no difference in WU output, but we would have no record in the membership list... Basically, would that count, or not etc, and how would we track such an addition? That could be faked etc 🙁 comes to mind...
