why the hell was CONGRESS investigating BASEBALL????

Congress is involved because it was becoming obvious that baseball players were using illegal substances. They were obtaining these substances illegally as well.

I don't see a problem with this.
This is not the proper body for jurisdiction.
If it's against the law, it's a law enforcement issue.
That's what the Judicial branch is supposed to do.

Unless The Constitution has been suborned already, and we're just figuring it out. :disgust:

It is ridiculous. You wonder how it is possible for this shit to occur in this country. Who cares what Roger Clemens puts in his body or anyone else's for that matter. It is wrong!

Then don't lie about it under oath in front on Congress.

They had no business asking in the first place.

Sure they did. A fellow congress performed an investigation that he was illegally taking drugs. Clemens is a huge role model and steriods/hgh is a huge problem among young adults.

If MLB isn't going to do anything about it, the congressional committee against illegal drug use is going to.

Illegal drug use. WOW. Are you serious? Sounds like an oxymoron to me.
Guys like you make me sick. Why is it any of your business or Congress's what Roger clemens or anyone else in this country wants to put in their bodies. It is not your business.

LMAO. Then change the laws. So, it should be alright for 12 year old to drink alcohol, do cocaine, take steroids, etc.

Again, you're slow to understand that these sports athletes are role models and many children and young adults emulate them.

No adults only. Get off the kid shit. Don't ever tell me what i can put in my body. You idiot.

LMAO. Then obviously you're too ignorant to see the big picture. Go ahead coke-up and shoot-up some steroids. Let the cops know and tell the judge that you should be allowed to do whatever you want to your body.

And while you're at it, write to the Committee for National Drug Policy.

What Big Picture? I don't do coke or steroids or any drug for that matter.
You little coward. You stand behind a computer and call me ignorant.

Little coward? You're the one insulting me first and calling me an idiot.

Listen, I can't help if you're ignorant and you don't have the ability to think and conceptualize.

Yup. Likewise with bonds. They don't give a shit if he did steroids or not, he's not getting investigated for that. They give a shit because they asked him and in congressional testimony it is possible he LIED.

also the fbi having better things to do.. I am sure they do. So it's a good thing that...

From Wikipedia
As of October 31, 2006, the FBI had a total of 30,762 employees. That includes 12,659 special agents and 18,009 support staff, such as FBI police officers, intelligence analysts, language specialists, scientists, information technology specialists, and other professionals.

I am sure congress asked all 30k to look into Clemens and every aspect of his life. The FBI is pretty singularly focused entity after all :disgust:

I'm fast enough to know the only thing they are trying to emulate is their earnings.
Until these same Elected Officials are offering their drug tests as an example, you can rest assured they are like the rest of the population, if not worse, in their affliction by drug use.

Since both groups are served in a positive manner by performance enhanceing drugs and their use, they will not magically disappear. ever.
