people, you have no idea what the term "rice" means. The cars in that movie are running 10 sec quarter miles. A "riced out" car is one which is all show and no go. If i had a 10 second car, sure as hell, i'd paint it a cool color, and make it stand out, cuz it deserves it.

Most movies aren't supposed to be realistic. They are supposed to put you into a world you wouldn't normally be in. Anyway, I'd like to see it because the racing scenes look cool and I haven't seen a movie with a really good car chase scene since Ronin.

Looks good to me - they got some heavy hitting cars in there. Anyone who calls it a ricer movie is a moron IMO - if that were true it'd be all Honda's with Mugen stickers and just intake/exhaust mods. Not the case, sorry.

if it's even a REAL 10s honda or whatever it is, it cost them a hell of a lot of money to get it that fast, and personally i don't think it's a 10s car. I love the trailer where he says something like &quot;the time i feel alive is in those 10 seconds or less&quot; i just laughed my ass off.

Las Vegas Motor Speedway owns a 10 second civic, CNNP racing sponsers a 10 second neon, there is even a 9 second CRX.

To all of you yong bucks out there, the original term &quot;ricer&quot; comes from Harley riders referring to Japanese bikes. i.e they burn rice instead of gas like a real bike.

This term of derision may have evolved to its common usage to describe the civic with a neuspeed sticker but the old definition still works.

If it has 4 cylinders and is japanese, it's rice.

Give me a domestic 8cyl (or a german one in a bind )anyday.
