First, three CNN journalists who worked on a now-retracted story about Russia and a top Trump adviser are leaving the network.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...n-in-fallout-from-retracted-russia-story.html

Now, CNN producer John Bonifield is caught on film admitting that the network's constant coverage of the Trump-Russia narrative is "mostly bullshit" and "the president is probably right to say CNN is witch-hunting him"

That didn't take long. How do you know he took anything out of context? Do you have the full context of these conversations?

It's O'Keefe, dumbshit. The guy has lied about every single thing he's released. It's a smoke game for the easily-conned, just like yourself. Fool me 10 times? I mean, shame on who? You again? seriously?

Well he would have to release that wouldn't he? See that's just it. He puts this shit out to stir up the faithful. By the time the truth comes out you people are too frothed up to care. I bet you still think that ACORN did what he claimed too don't you?

What's funny is yesterday you summarily dismissed empirical data asking why it should be believed. Here you are asking why someone with a proven history of deception shouldn't be believed. No agenda with you though is there?

This is how journalism is supposed to work: CNN publishes a story regarding a specific person, specific meeting, on a specific date; the main subject of that story (Scaramanga or whatever his name is) cries foul; editors follow up and find issues with sourcing and reporting, and the article is retracted. Those responsible are held accountable. This all happened within 48 hours...Not even enough time for CNN TV to give it on-air coverage.

How long did it take FOX news to fully retract the Seth Rich DNC leaker story (oh wait Hannity refused to...)

How long did it take Alex Jones to retract his Sandy Hook was faked narrative (oh right he never did!)

How long did it take the WH to retract the lie about Comey tapes again??

Yeah, O'Keefe is a bastion of truthful videos ... /sarcasm

Holy shitballs. People are still gullible enough to fall for his routine? Oh, wait. Saw who the defenders were. Don't eat paint chips kids.

What you might consider that none of that matters. In this case the Far Right does not consider such things as important. What they have is akin to what happens with the Catholic Church. Out of the multitude of priests some small part are pedophiles and every time one is exposed there's
"See I told you what these guys are".

Don't consider a larger perspective, go for the throat of the "enemy" whenever it is exposed. In this case three people are enough for them and nothing will change their perceptions.

Hannity is a commentator, not a news person. Who lied about "Comey tapes"? Trump never said that he had tapes.

Don't they have a Judge that just made shit up. Then fired and re-hired. Great journalist tradition going on at Fox.

You talking about those estimated wait times? I have no idea how those are calculated and if they are accurate. So I asked you.

I am biased, you are too. We're all hacks to a certain degree. I don't recall that ACORN situation, so apparently I don't think that.

CNN is already "fake news" to me, so I don't need this confirmation. How much editing could you appeal to to make him not really say the things he appears to be saying?

So you're not going with the "out of context" line?

Hannity still represents Fox News. Just because it's opinion and not straight news doesn't give him permission to tell blatant lies. The only reason he still has his job is because Fox News itself doesn't have problems parroting Trump's lies on a daily basis.

And Trump said "Comey better hope there are no 'tapes' of our conversations before he starts leaking to the press!" And then refused to confirm or deny the presence of tapes before finally denying them in the past few days. That's not an outright claim that there are tapes, but it's baffling behavior that did absolutely nothing to settle doubts. You're the President, Trump -- you don't imply that you might have recorded the conversation. It's likely that the recent statement came at the behest of his legal team... say you didn't record the chats or we could be in (deeper) trouble down the line.

He said it was out of context, period. Is it really hard to accept what he seemed to be saying in this video? Ratings are through the roof for CNN standards, why is that? Because they are pushing Russia, Russia, Russia. They are playing on you people's insane hope that Trump was somehow involved. He made one of the same points I've made about there being leak after leak after leak and no leak of any evidence of this collusion.

do you guarantee that buckshit? I mean, your word is rock-fucking-solid, so if you guarantee that, I'll believe you.
How can we possibly assume that drumpf is an underhanded, sleazy, lying, sack of shit, when all we have to base that on are his current and past behaviors and actions? I guess we're duped again.

Watch Hannity, he's not a news person delivering news, everybody knows that. It isn't a "lie" to push the possibility of Rich being murdered for leaking to wikileaks. Just not proven.

Do you remember the story about Comey planning to deny that he told Trump he wasn't a part of the investigation? CNN got crap for "fake news" for it. It could have been correct and Trump's mention of tapes made Comey "remember" better. The recent statement is probably just the truth.

O'Keefe has a very long history of presenting false information and heavily edited videos that give a narrative that doesn't exist. He has been sued, successfully, several times. He is also facing criminal charges and has in the past for his antics.

Given that the person who created this video has a long history of heavily editing videos to give the appearance of a narrative than the initial reaction of disbelief without the entire untouched footage being provided is not only reasonable it's really the only sensible response.

Do you think this CNN guy actually uttered these words? I'm trying to get to a baseline here. Did he piece together the words or are these sentences actually from this producer? Whether they are out of context or not is another question.
