Well, my cpu overclocks well I believe (e6600, 375 * 9 = 3.37 MHZ at stock voltage) But I just can get it to go further. My theory is that my PSU sucks too bad (430W ThermalTake For $23 bucks) as I have a vdroop to about 1.2 volts when set at 1.4.

The thing is, no matter what voltage I set, I can't get past 375, even with lowering the multiplier and Spreadspectrums, EIST, and C1 all turned off. I get really good temps (my MoBo reports like 20C 0_o and 30C for my Chipset (Gigabyte DS4...)) Anything you gurus think I might try short of getting a new CPU (3.4 GHZ is nice BTW)

Oh, and my CPU Batch is a 44G if that helps Any

20C is probably about ambient, which is way off. Add another 9-15C to that. And if you're reading 1.213 in CPU-Z as your voltage, CPU-Z has a tough time correctly reporting voltages.
Try bumping up SPP (NB) and FSB (VTT) voltages as well.

Yeah once you go past 1.45~1.50V, CPU-Z will always display (at least for me) 1.213V or something like that. 430W PSU for $23 is relatively a bargain, though. Where can I get one? :D

From various reports, E6600 doesn't look to clock as high as it once used to. There is a rumour that Intel is busy cherry-picking for quad-cores.

Looks like you got a goodie, looking at your Q6600 @ 3.3GHz.

Just lowered to 3.2GHz due to the high temps. :D Hate to see that lucky number 7.. (e.g. 70C)

Edit: PCTC2, be careful with the Ultra-120 and dual fans. Last year I cracked a motherboard with Ultra-120 and a heavy 38mm fan. Heh.. The fan weighed 380g.

Thanks Lopri, but my fans together weigh only 250g. I don't think it's putting too much strain.
I'm switching to water in a few months anyways, when I get the Q6600 when it drops to $266. Sorry for thread-jacking.
