I dunno the story - but to have the elements of Rocky IV combined with War, throw in the Wrestler and Bloodsport, oh and don't forget a UFC fighter - sounds like it could be the greatest action movie since Die Hard :p

Jason Statham, Slvester Stallone, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Forest Whitaker.

One doesn't belong, choose now! Unless, you mention Bloodsport b/c Forest played a government agent? That's a bit of a stretch.

It seems like they took the cheesiest action movie stars young and old and tossed them in together. Could be the cheesiest action movie ever... but for those you eat that shit up, heaven.

They better toss in Chuck Norris, Steven Seagal and Jean Claude van Damme. That's the trifecta of perfecta right there.

What would make it perfect would be if Arnold Schwartzenegger and Jesse Ventura were heads of the dictatorship they were overthrowing.

Hell if you are bringing Arnold and Jesse in and Sylvester already cast, I think Carl Weathers needs some love.

This is unavoidably going to be epic, whether it's terrible or awesome.

I like Ghost Dog, it's like a modern day Samurai Story, and the RZA does the soundtrack. BUNG BUNG.

This will be strange. An action movie with a bunch of crappy actors, but good action stars, combined with one awesome actor... I'm sure I'll love it. :) Here's to hoping it can be as cheesy as a John Carpenteresque movie!

The real question is how did this get financed? I know some of those actors will work for a can of beans and a weenie (Dolph Lundgren), but most of the rest of them must add up to a pretty big budget just on actors. Unless they all decided to do a back-end deal :) lol.

1st all Jim Jarmousch films are automatically awesome.
2nd, this is a remake of a remake of a remake of a TV show with a different name. How do you think it will be?

My grandson flipped over to "Live Free and Die Hard" last night. Bruce Willis is yet another (bad) actor who's still going way past his prime.

Haven't these guys ever heard of "Jumped the Shark?"
