This started about a week ago. It was announced on the site ahead of time. Every merchant's either 5% or 0%.

I received my $28.29 from the PIII-700 yesterday! Whether it'll bounce or not, that's another question. Just thought that I share....

Got my $67.00 today as well. Was listed as paid on 7/30/00. Did not get my other check for $26.00 that is listed as approved on 8/19/00.

I also got my check today but note the checks are void after 60 days and mine was dated 8/17/00...nice of them to hold for me... for 30days...so the person who got his dated 7/30/00 better cash it and not forget.

Well, my one and only venture into Point Click came through. Got my $27 check today for the two GF2 MX cards from Onvia. Almost beat the cards. :) Lark

nealh -- I didn't notice the date until you mentioned it... This is the first time I've used Pointclink on a deal -- and the last.

First they delay the check, then they backdate the check:| What a great company! If I find another hotdeal based on use Pointclick, then I'm going to say forget it.

<< It is not possible to get a check from PC for $760 ... >>

Sure it is, I actually use the service to build up funds. I did not just use the service to get a measly 10% refund. I purchased parts from several different vendor, Mcglen, Mushkin, Access Micro, Onvia and built a PIII 667,and was reimbursed the total purchase price.
BTW my Wife has over $1000 in her account. Which I think we need to liquidate.

It is very possible to get checks that large. My check totals thus far:

$358.00
$1002.00
$289.00

However, you had to start when PC first opened its doors and you could make $70.00 per day. They let people do this for the first several months last Dec through Feb. The cool thing was that it only took about an hour to get the $70.00. Who here remembers the wonderful "Shift-click"?

I would like everyone to know that I received my check from pointclick on Saturday. This check was from a purchase made in July, and the date on the check is 8/17/00. I was kind of annoyed at this because I received it on 9/16/00 and it is only valid for 60 days. Not that I am going to wait to cash my check but it is kind of a ripoff to lose appx. 30 days to get it cashed.

I'm not defending PointClick, but my guess is that these checks were actually printed on or near 8/17. They then ran into funding problems.

that's what I was thinking. They processed the checks, then realized they didn't have the cash on hand... and if they sent out bounced checks, they'd be screwed up the arse more than they'd want to.

I have a question about pointclicks payout procedure. I currently have 17.50 owed to me but they won't send it until my reimbursement total has reached 25 or more. If I buy something and get reimbursed say 10 dollars that would put my total at 27.50. When Pointclick sends me the next check will they only send me the 17.50 from the first reimbursement or will they send the 27.50? Thanks.

brown234 - I believe you have to request a reimbursement of $27.50 and they will mail you a check for $26.50 (less their $1 check processing fee).

Anyone else received a check for august purchases? I just sent another email to pointclick stating that i think what they are doing is wrong. Even if we do get our due money they will be screwing the newer customers out of theirs. I for one will never use pointclick again. Let me know what you guys think.
