How do you all drastically alter the appearance of your desktops? I'm seeing people with different icons and all sorts of cool stuff. Can someone send me a link on how do make these sweet changes?

IT depends on what you want to do. I use style XP, Icon Packer, Sysmetrix, Photoshop(mostly for backgounds and sysmetrix), and Yz Dock.
 
Anyone have a saved picture of that "Modded Teknision Ice" desktop that Ne0 posted on page 9? Link doesnt work anymore. Wondering what everyone is raving about.

Don't know if I still have the particular Modded Teknision Ice screenshot. I can share the provided files that I have if anyone would host it, although it won't be complete because my old drive died & most of my wallpaper, icons, visual styles dissappeared.
 
This is my Linux Desktop.. I JUST reformatted both my Windows and Linux partitions yesterday and so I have not had a chance to reinstall quite a bit of software yet.. you can see the lack of icons on the upper bar. I'll post another shot when I get everything reinstalled/reconfigured.
