A few posts later, I mentioned that I kepted the 4G4A+. I did some more reading, and realized that the 845G chipet is much faster than the 845E. I am able now to OC to 2.4GHz at 150FSB, DDR400 at CAS2.5 3:3:6 memory settings. I am worried about my vcore being too high, it was at 1.7v, and Prime95 errored out after 80 minutes or so. I bumped up the voltage to 1.725v, and running it again to see how long it will run. Is running the 1.6A at 1.75 or 1.775v too high and unsafe?
Those voltages should be fine. Your case cooling must be better than mine, cuz I have my vcore at 1.625 and it runs 1.6A @ 2.4Ghz without any problems but with 55C full load temp.
