The "Entitlement Society" myth: 91% of entitlement benefits go to elderly, disabled, or working households: http://www.cbpp.org/cms/?fa=view&id=3677

But, what about all those poor welfare moms spending all their time popping out welfare children?!?! With as much attention as conservatives give this group, you would think they would make up more than 9%.......

Social Security and Disability are not entitlements, people such as yourself pay into these programs via your taxes. In addition SS, Medicare, Disability are only 1% of the deficit. SS, medicare, disability programs are solvent till 2035 I believe and the only thing needed to extend the solvency is slightly raise the taxes for it. Which has not been done for decades nor kept pace with inflation, cost of living and the fact people are living longer. But remember living longer doesnt equate to quality of living.

Welfare is not as abused as the media has portrayed and very much needed for the very poor. These are not lazy people, these are people who work 2 jobs sometimes at minimum wage or less than minimum wage with no benefits and still cant earn enough to live and take care of themselves and their families.

There are no handouts left.

Lets be clear on that.

Obama is like the last believer in Government as a solution.

Government has been proven not to be the solution.

So, our Constitution, etc., are failed.

It'll take someone stronger than Obama, to overcome our failures.
