That was the first thing i noticed in Word 2007. I thought that was an error, because Calibri is a sans serif font. I've always been told that for documents (the body at least) you should use serif fonts for easier reading.

I hate TNR. The Bookmans are better if you want serifs. There is a reason books aren't published in TNR.

As a government employee, I believe that Microsoft probably knows what they're doing, and that the United States government is a bit "out of touch, arrogant, and irrelevant".

i would, but all the stuff we submit is expected to be size 12...

Yeah, but do a "seperate" install.... meaning keep your existing installed version of office. I'm still using Office XP, so Office 2007 looks fancy, but I'm not sold on having all options in tabs at the top; instead of drop down menus. FYI, your school didn't do you a big favor, it's available to anyone who is interested.

More on topic, the first thing I noticed in Word 2007 was the font being Calibri size 11. I don't like it any more or any less than TNR.

I really think they have it backwards. I think they meant Cambria to be used as the body and Calibri the heading (right now it's the other way around).
